ABOUT JAMES FERRARI

James Ferrari is known for creating abstract and representational sculptures from car parts and other metal mediums.
He was born in Bronxville, NY in 1969 and grew up splitting his time between New York and Southwest Florida.
His Italian roots started with his great, great, great, grandfather, Allesandro Ferrari (1845) who owned a farm in Parma, Italy. His great grandparents, Domenic and Angelina (Moruzzi) moved to America in 1898.
James Ferrari has created many works of art for private, public and corporate collectors.
His passion to become a metal sculptor was ignited during his last semester at Florida State University when he picked up his first welder.
Named one of the most-up-and-coming contemporary artists by New Art International in 2009, James has not stopped sculpting highly collected original sculptures for the past twenty years. He works from his studio located in the heart of the contemporary art scene in the Dallas Design District.
