More on the 250 Testa Rossa featured, from the text by noted historian & researcher Jarrett Rothmeier:
“The seventh customer 250 Testa Rossa by chassis number, s/n 0724 TR, was completed at the Factory in early 1958 and sold from the factory to Jacques Swaters’ Ecurie Nationale Belge in Brussels, Belgium in late February 1958. Delivered in Swaters’ custom shade of yellow with a red racing stripe, s/n 0724 TR was displayed the following month during the Brussels Motor Show. Following its brief career as a show car, s/n 0724 TR saw much competition action in England, Belgium, and in France at Le Mans, before going to the USA where it was raced extensively in SCCA competitions.”
“In late 2013, just before finishing its restoration, s/n 0724 TR was sold to its current owner, a famed collector and the decision was made to debut the car at Pebble Beach as part of the now famous 250 TR display which saw no less than twenty 250 Testa Rossas grace the lawn. After a very difficult round of judging, s/n 0724 TR received a second in class for the 250 TR class. In January of 2015, it received a Platinum Award and the coveted Competizione Cup at the Cavallino Classic Concorso d’Eleganza.”
