The 26th Annual Palm Beach Cavallino Classic will be presented in the beautiful and exotic setting of Palm Beach, Florida on January 25 to 29, 2017. This extraordinary gathering is a multi-day convention for automotive owners and collectors, with participants and their 400 rare, exotic and classic automobiles attending from the Americas, Europe and Asia.
The premier event of the weekend is the Concorso d’Eleganza on the front lawn of the famous Breakers Hotel, on Saturday, January 28. 140 immaculate Ferrari automobiles are judged by leading international experts for elegance and originality, for the important Class Awards and the distinguished Major Cups, along with the prestigious Cavallino Cup for Best in Show.
This exceptional weekend is crowned with an unrivaled Sunday program – the 19th Annual Classic Sports Sunday at the Mar-a-Lago Club (the legendary Marjorie Merriweather Post mansion in old Palm Beach). 120 vintage and classic sporting automobiles from this romantic era are displayed on the lawn, and guests vote for their favorites. Awards are then presented at the charity brunch in the ballroom.
Other events include track time for modern and vintage cars at Palm Beach International Raceway, along with actual historic races on Thursday and Friday.
The evenings are filled with several social occasions, including the 17th Annual Jet Aviation Reception at Palm Beach International Airport, where 100 Ferraris are parked on the tarmac amongst the private aircraft. On Friday and Saturday evening, there are gala awards parties at The Breakers, where the best of the best are rewarded for their beauty, style, elegance and history.
The Palm Beach Cavallino Classic is also regarded as one of the top five automotive events in the world, along with the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, the Villa d’Este Concorso d’Eleganza, The Quail, and the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance.
In addition, the winners of three different Cavallino Classic Best in Show Awards have gone on to win the prestigious international Louis Vuitton Classic Concours Award, for the ultimate Best in the World.
