Maserati Named Featured Marque at Cavallino Sunday

The Cavallino Classic is pleased to announce that the marque chosen to be featured at Classic Sports Sunday at Mar-a-Lago on Sunday, January 29, 2017 is… Maserati.

The firm was established on 1914 by the Maserati brothers – Alfieri, Bindo, Carlo, Ettore, and Ernesto – in Bologna and by the 1920s, their cars were winning important races. Their fame grew into the 1930s, and after a break for the war, the firm entered its heyday of racing in the 1950s and 1960s, with gorgeous examples of both GT and Formula cars. In addition, they produced some excellent GT cars for the street, all known for their Italian flair and restrained style.

Through these many years the firm was bought by the Adolfo Orsi family, and after many more years and a succession of owners, Maserati is now in the good hands of Fiat Chrysler.

Invited to attend Classic Sports Sunday at Mar-a-Lago are Maseratis both pre-war and post-war to 1977, its finest years.
