250 GT SWB to be Honored at the Cavallino Classic
Honoring 60 Years of the 250 GT Short Wheelbase Berlinetta
From 1959 to 1962 and beyond, these dual purpose berlinettas were Ferrari’s must-have GT car if anyone wanted to race – from professional pilot to gentleman driver, from the local hill climb to the Le Mans 24 hours. It could do it all - it had speed, torque, agility, reliability, endurance – and you could drive it to the store. It won races!
In addition, many consider the SWB as one of the best designs to ever grace a Ferrari chassis – neat, compact, purposeful, not an ounce of fat.
Saturday - To see these GT SWB in all their variety, join us during the 2019 Cavallino Classic Concorso d’Eleganza on January 26, 2019, at The Breakers Resort.
Thursday and Friday – See them on track, on the tour and in our comprehensive and close-up look symposium.
This will be the biggest gathering of 250 GT SWBs in years.
Do you own one of these beauties? Then no excuse not to bring it and join the celebration.
